This policy covers the Comment Auto Reply website while the app is still pre-launch. Right now the site does two things that involve your data: a waitlist email signup and a contact form. We keep this short and specific so you can see exactly what happens to anything you send us.

What we collect

Only what you give us, plus basic site measurement:

  • Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you enter so we can tell you when the app launches.
  • Contact form details. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit.
  • Basic, privacy-friendly analytics. Aggregate, non-identifying numbers about page visits, such as how many people viewed a page and which pages are popular. We do not build advertising profiles.

How we use it

We use what you send for the reason you sent it, and nothing else:

  • Your waitlist email is used to email you about the launch and early access. That is the whole purpose.
  • Your contact form details are used to read your message and reply to you.
  • Analytics help us understand which pages are useful and where the site needs work.

Tools we use

A couple of third-party services help the site run:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile protects our forms from spam and bots. It runs when you submit a form so we can confirm the submission is from a real person rather than an automated script.
  • Hosting. The site is served from a web host, which processes standard request data needed to deliver the pages to your browser.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not rent or trade your email address.
  • We do not send your details to advertisers.

Data retention

We keep waitlist emails until the launch period is over or until you ask us to remove yours, whichever comes first. We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to handle your request and any follow-up. When data is no longer needed, we delete it.

Your choices

You stay in control of what we hold:

  • Unsubscribe. Every email we send includes a way to opt out. One click and we stop emailing you.
  • Request deletion. Ask us to delete your data through the contact form and we will remove it.
